The book L'Album de mon Enfance is a publishing project produced and published in 2020 by Hachette and written by author Marion McGuinness. I had the pleasure of being in charge of the book's art direction and layout, as well as all the interior illustrations.
I thought about the graphic aspect of this book as a mix between something non-genre (no choice of colors intended to distinguish children and classically attributed to a particular genre: no “clichéd” pink or blue), soft coloured and pastel atmosphere while having a traditional pencilled style, like the books of our childhood.

Le livre L'Album de mon Enfance est un projet d'édition réalisé et paru en 2020 chez maison d'édition Hachette et écrit par l'autrice Marion McGuinness. J'ai eu le plaisir d'être en charge de la direction artistique, de la mise en page complète du livre ainsi que de toutes les illustrations intérieures.
J'ai imaginé l'aspect graphique de ce livre comme un mélange entre quelque chose de non-genré (pas de choix de couleurs ayant pour intention de distinguer les enfants et attribuées classiquement à un genre particulier : pas de rose ou de bleu "clichés"), ambiance colorée douce et pastel tout en ayant un style traditionnel crayonné, comme les livres de notre enfance.
