I was commissioned to work in collaboration with LG2 Agency on several illustrations later animated in-house for the account of Quebec's Government for a TV add made to raise awareness around elder abuse and neglect.

J'ai été mandatée pour réaliser plusieurs illustrations, qui ont ensuite été animées, pour le compte du gouvernement du Québec dans le cadre d'une publicité télévisée visant à sensibiliser le public à la maltraitance et à la négligence envers les personnes âgées.


The overall illustrations had to shift from a very bright atmosphere to a darker one, using purple as a the main colour as it is the official one for raising awareness about elder abuse and neglect.
In the various scenes, we see the elderly woman gradually losing control over what her son is taking from her all while being enveloped in a darker atmosphere, unable to defend herself or grasp the gravity of the situation

Les illustrations devaient passer d'une atmosphère très lumineuse à une ambiance plus sombre, le tout en utilisant de plus en plus le violet comme couleur principale puisqu'elle est la couleur officielle de la campagne de sensibilisation contre la maltraitance et la négligence envers les personnes âgées.
Dans les différentes scènes, on voit ainsi la femme âgée perdre peu à peu le contrôle sur ce que son fils lui prend tout en étant enveloppée d'une atmosphère plus sombre, incapable de se défendre ou de saisir la gravité de la situation.
