For the second time since 2021 I joined the annual "October challenge" (Inktober) by picking some prompts in different lists published on Instagram on several accounts. This year again and like the last time, I only joined during the week so I wouldn't get burnt out too quickly between my other projects and still enjoy the process because that's the point of this challenge: to practice while having fun and I truly did!
Once again I worked on making a colour palette beforehand and I absolutely loved using all of these dark shades while playing with lights and shadows. Purple isn't a colour I used a lot before this and it was nice to challenge myself with it and learn how I can use it in my work.

Pour la deuxième fois depuis 2021, j'ai rejoint le « challenge d'octobre » annuel (Inktober) en piochant quelques prompts dans différentes listes publiées sur Instagram sur plusieurs comptes. Cette année encore et comme la fois d'avant, je ne postais qu'en semaine pour ne pas m'imposer un rythme trop intense avec mes autres projets client en cours tout en profitant du processus car c'est vraiment le but de ce challenge à mes yeux : pratiquer en s'amusant.
Une fois de plus, j'ai travaillé sur une palette de couleurs au préalable et j'ai absolument adoré utiliser toutes ces nuances sombres tout en jouant avec les ombres et les lumières. Je n'utilisais avant ce challenge pas beaucoup de violet et c'était très chouette de me challenger un peu tout en essayant des techniques pour l'intégrer de plus en plus dans mon propre travail.
